greetings...

I started this blog to post vegan recipes for the masses. I'm going to post a few older recipes that I have tried out at our monthly vegan potlucks here in NOLA. Most of these have been tested on other vegans as well as non-vegans with outstanding results so go forth and spread the vegan goodness.

Macaroni & Cheeze

4-5 tbsp of vegan margarine
1 block of veganrella cheddar cheese; grated
1/2 block of follow your heart cheddar cheese; grated
1 - 1 1/2 cups of soymilk
1 lb. of elbow macaroni (or any pasta of your choice)

Have water boiling and pasta cooking before you make the cheeze sauce
Melt margarine
Add both cheeses and stir until melted
Once cheeses are melted add soymilk; stir and let cook for 5 minutes
drain pasta (should be done by now)
combine pasta and cheeze sauce in large bowl
and voila you have mac and cheeze!!

Jalapeno Quezo Dip

4-5 tbsp of vegan margarine
3/4 block of veganrella cheddar cheese; grated
1/2 block of follow your heart cheddar cheese; grated
3/4 - 1 cup of soymilk
1/4 cup of jalapeno juice

Melt margarine
Add both cheeses and stir until melted
Once cheeses are melted add soymilk and jalapeno juice; stir and let cook for 5 minutes
Grab some tortilla chips and enjoy!
